The Trading Post on MarkeTree is where forestry and other equipment are listed to buy and sell.  To create a listing on the Trading Post you are required to be logged in as a Registered User of MarkeTree.  Once you have logged in, click on Trading Post on the top menu.  This will open the Trading Post section.  You can add a listing by clicking on the Add your listing here link above the first listing. This will open the Add Listing page, with Trading Post already entered as the category.  You can now enter the details of your listing.

1. The Name field will be the heading for your listing
2. The Description field is where you enter details of your sales listing.  You will need to provide sufficient information to attract a buyer.
3. Closest Town - here you can enter a street address as well as the city for your product.  By doing so, you will be able to provide an exact location on the map for your listing.
4. State - this is a required field if you would like to have your listing shown on the map.
5. Region - if you would like your listing shown on the map, please select Locate on Map prior to entering the region your sales listing applies to.
6. Phone - please enter your phone numbers here - this will be a method of contact for buyers.
7. Price - enter to price for your product.  You can also add text, for example: from $? per cubic metre or $? neg.
8. Images - you may wish to include an image for your listing.  To add an image click on Add an Image, Browse, and select an image from your computer. 
9. Submit - when you have finished entering all data for your listing click on the Submit button. 

Please note:
Image size is limited to 200KB per image and listing images are automatically cropped square for the preview pages for display purposes.  Images display in their original proportion when you click on the image/s at the bottom of the listing.

Once you submit your listing it will be shown as Pending Approval.  Listings will be reviewed by MarkeTree Administration and added to our directory once they have been approved (generally within one business day).
