Q: I am an AFG Member - how do I register for MarkeTree?
A: AFG Members can register for complimentary access to MarkeTree (access is complimentary until 30 November 2010). If you are an AFG Member and wish to register for complimentary access to MarkeTree, please call AFG on 02 6162 9000 for more details.
Q: How do I join MarkeTree?
A: To join MarkeTree click on the 'Register Now' link on the Join MarkeTree menu on the right side of the screen. This will open the MakeTree registration form where you will need to select the category of registration and enter your contact details. When you have finished entering all you details, ensure the check box to Accept Terms and Conditions is selected and click on the Register button. Your registration will then be processed by MakeTree Administration (generally within one business day).
Q: Do I have any guarantee that the information contained on MarkeTree is accurate?
A: Whilst every care is taken, AFG cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information contained on MarkeTree. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer.
Q: What should be listed in Industry Connect?
A: Industry Connect is where services and products are listed. These may include, but are not limited to, Forestry Consultants, Pruned Stand Certifiers, Nurseries, and Forestry Tool businesses.
Q: What should be listed on the Trading Post?
A: The Trading Post on MarkeTree is where forestry and other equipment are listed to buy and sell.
Q: Does AFG provide preferential treatment to Buyers or Sellers?
A: Except that AFG Members gain free or discounted access to MarkeTree as a member service, AFG has no specific arrangements with any Buyer or Seller.
Q: Does AFG receive commission on sales?
A: No, AFG does not receive commission on sales, except where we have a commercial arrangement for specific products and services, including Plantation Insurance and AFG-TreeSmart.
Q: Difficulty registering to or using MarkeTree?
A: If you experience any difficulty registering to or using MarkeTree, please contact AFG on 02 6162 9000 for assistance.
Q: Can I edit / remove my listing?
A: Yes, you can remove your listing. To remove a listing please log in to your account, and click on the 'My Page' link on the menu on the left hand side of the screen - this will display your listing/s. Click on the 'edit' button next to the heading of the listing you wish to delete or edit. Your listing will open and you will be able edit the listing, or to delete it click on the 'delete' button.
Please note: Refunds are not payable for deleted listings.
Q: Can I renew or extend my listing?
A: You will receive a reminder via email as your listing expires, which will advise how to renew your listing.
